| If you are having the tiled walls replaced above the tub do this first. Go ahead and grout to the tub just don't caulk till after the refinishing. A bathtub alone can be refinished in approximately 5 hours, and it can be used again 24 hours after completion. I put masking around the areas to be protected and, using an HVLP system, there is a minimal amount of overspray. Fumes from this process are exhausted out a window. |

| Options for your tub. 1) Replacement: Tear out your existing tub/shower and replace. What's the worst part of this? The demolition. Cost: $$$$$ 2) Refinishing: This is a hire-the-pro project. DIY is great for many things, but it is virtually impossible to do a decent bathtub refinishing job by yourself. 3) Tub Liners: Costs a lot more than refinishing, but probably cheaper than full replacement. They do have issues with moisture and your tub is now plastic looking and smaller. 4) DIY Refinishing: You probably do not want to take on. Nearly impossible to achieve a smooth finish, and DIY finishes will begin to peel and chip soon after. They don't have the professional bonding agents that I use. 5) Cleaning: You may be surprised how good your tub looks once I'm done cleaning it and maybe that's all it needs. Unless it's a color change of course. 6) Restore: If after the cleaning it looks good but is worn and dull looking I may be able to restore it. Cost less then refinishing too. Best bet. Hire me to refinish you tub or maybe all it needs is a professional cleaning/Restore. It will be done in half a day or less, cost you a whole lot less and no mess. I never promise a brand new tub but, that's what I hear quite a lot. "It looks brand new" If you are concerned with peeling if it's refinished don't be. If you ever get a peeling tub that I did please just call. Peeling tubs are generally due to water leaking or a bathmat. I can put down a slip resistant bottom so no bathmat is needed and just keep your plumbing in working order. |

Being legit means it costs me more. I have expenses that other
illegal outfits don't.
Plus I am scheduling just your tub to refinish for the day. It takes
me on average 5 hours to do a tub. I've been doing it long enough
so I know how long it takes to do it right.
I am not rushing your tub knowing I have to get to another 2 or 3 to
do. I even have affiliates who do this but I won't. To do it right it
takes time. I won't lower my standards just to keep up with the low
ballers. Believe me I know what the shortcuts are. However, you
won't till it's to late. Do other refinishers put their face right up on
their website?
Remember "you get what you pay for" Do you really think that
you will get a quality job from some unlicensed person coming
from out of state. Do you think he's going to spend 4 hours on the
road for the day to do just your tub for cheap. My guess is that he
has multiple jobs lined up for the day that he has to do on top of
the 4 hour commute. Your's being only one of them. ( I've redone
their work ) You may pay less now but you will pay more later.
Bottom line. Hire me for quality and I'm still way less money than
a plastic liner company and if all your tub needs is a cleaning
then that's what I'll do. Saving you even more money.
